HTMT ties-up with Fortune 50 insurance player
New Delhi, Nov 29 (UNI) Hinduja TMT (HTMT) today said it has tied-up with Fortune 50 insurance major to process the latter's workmen compensation claims from the Bangalore centre, the pilot for which has already started and is expected to go live by early next month.
The Fortune 50 client has a presence in around 60 countries with over 70,000 employees and revenues of 60 billion dollars.
It has one of the largest insurance practices in India.
''With three large insurance clients, we are well on our way to become the undisputed leader in the global insurance BPO space,'' said HTMT CEO (IT/ITeS) Partha Sarkar.
Starting with one insurance client in 2000, it added another Fortune 150 insurance giant in 2003 and over the last six years, its insurance practice has grown from a small team of 25 to over 1,700 employees being serviced out of India, Philippines and Mauritius.
The current client addition is expected to catapult HTMT into one of the biggest third party BPO vendors in Insurance Claim Processing segment.
