High Court issues notice to Ch sec and CBI on Deen Dayal trust

Jaipur, Nov 29 (UNI) The Rajasthan High court has issued notices to the Chief Secretary of the state and the CBI in connection with the allotment of land to the Deen Dayal Memorial Trust.

Justice Ashok Parihar while hearing of a petition filed by one Poonam Chand Bhandari demanding a CBI inquiry into the land allotment issued notices to the Chief Secretary and the CBI.

Mr Bhandari in his petition pointed out that the Jaipur Development Authority had allotted a prime piece land at a throwaway price to a trust headed by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia.

Mr Bhadari had earlier moved an application seeking permission of the Rajasthan governor Pratibha Patil for initiating criminal proceedings against the Chief Minister and others but it was turned down.
