Dr Reddy's Lab inks pact with Torrent Pharma

Hyderabd, Nov 29 (UNI) Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd today signed an agreement with Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd for exclusive commercilisation of two of Torrent's brands in Russia.

The two brands-- Listril (Lisinopril) and Listril Plus (Lisinopril HCTZ)-- are cardiovascular drugs used in the treatment of high blood pressure, a release said.

The two brands would add to the stable of cardiovascular drugs the company was currently offering in Russia and the agreement would offer the potential for immediate commercialisation of these two brands as they had already been registered in Russia.

This was the second agreement of this kind that the company had made with Torrent Pharmaceuticals for Russia.
