Bureau Veritas plans major expansion

Tiruchirapalli, Nov 29 (UNI) Bureau Veritas (India) Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bureau Veritas SA, France is planning for a major expansion of its activities in the country.

The firm with 18 full-fledged offices and 14 residential offices across the country offers professional services with special focus on quality, health and safety, environment management and social accountability, Company Director Naresh Gupta said.

The company was planning to open ten more offices in Dehradun, Lucknow, Jodhpur, among other places and upgrade seven residential offices into full-fledged offices before the end of next year.

The company provides diversified solutions according to the needs of small and medium-sized firms, large international groups or government bodies. Bureau Veritas is present in many markets such as marine, construction, industry, energy, consumer goods, transport and services, he said.

Mr Gupta said the company was consistently maintaining 20 to 25 per cent growth rate year-over-year.
