Aditya Birla Nuvo acquires stake in BNIPL

New Delhi, Nov 29 (UNI) Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd today said it has acquired 82,50,000 equity shares of Birla NGK Insulators Pvt Ltd (BNIPL) from NGK Insulators Ltd, Japan.

In addition, company's wholly-owned subsidiary Laxminarayan Investment Ltd bought another 30 lakh equity shares from NGK and 10 lakh shares from Japan-based Mitsubishi Corporation.

On acquisition of the above shares, Birla NGK Insulators Pvt Ltd, has become a subsidiary of the company.
