WCR trains being speeded up
Jabalpur, Nov 28 (UNI) With the speed of eight trains being enhanced in the West-Central Railway, their timings will be modified from December 1, 2006.
''The 1448 Howrah-Jabalpur Express will take two hours less in reaching its destination. It will leave Howrah at 1430 hrs as it does now but reach Jabalpur at 1615 hrs the following day,'' said the zone's General Manager Maheep Kapoor.
The 3025 Howrah-Bhopal Exp will leave Howrah at 1250 hrs as it does now but reach the Madhya Pradesh capital at 1830 hrs the next day instead of 2035 hrs.
''The 2121 Jabalpur-Hazrat Nizamuddin Sampark Kranti Exp timings will be 1840 hrs/0905 hrs and 1725 hrs/0850 hrs as against the present 1805 hrs/0915 hrs. The 2189 Jabalpur-Hazrat Nizamuddin Mahakaushal Exp timings will be 1805 hrs/1130 hrs as against the current 1640 hrs/1005 hrs,'' the official said.
Similarly, minor modifications would be effected in the schedules of the Verawal-Jabalpur Exp, Lucknow-Jabalpur Chitrakoot Exp, Lokmanya Tilak Terminal-Habibganj Exp, Bhopal-Rewa and Kota-Vadodara Passenger. The Habibganj-Jabalpur Jan Shatabdi would halt at Shreedham from December 1.
