Veteran Indian sports scribe on FIH Exec Board

Chennai, Nov 28 (UNI) The Executive Board of International Hockey Federation (FIH) has re-nominated veteran Indian sports journalist Mr S Thyagarajan on its Committee today.

According to a press release here Mr Thyagarajan, who is the Associate Editor (Sports) and the Hockey Correspondent of a leading English daily ''The Hindu'' published from here, has been renominated as a member of the Communications and Information Technology (IT) Committee.

Mr Thyagarajan will be serving on the FIH committee for the third time.

Mr Thyagarajan is also the Chairman of the Media Commission of the Asian Hockey Confederation since 1998. He had also served as Chairman of the AIPS Hockey Commission till September last year.
