Rane congratulates Dempo for winning Durand Cup

Panaji, Nov 28 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Pratapsinh Rane and Sports Minister Pandurang Madkaikar today congratulated Dempo Sports Club for winning the Durand Cup final in New Delhi yesterday.

The Chief Minister said the club has done Goa proud by winning the prestigious Durand Cup. It was a victory for the Goan people, Mr Rane said while wishing the club all success in the future.

Mr Madkaikar said the victory was a rare feat and Dempo Sports Club has kept the flag of Goa flying high. He hoped the club will continue to add more feathers to its cap.
