Rains forecast in Kerala, Lakshadweep

Pune, Nov 28 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Rain or thundershowers are also likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, south Konkan, Goa, south Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Cold wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in Punjab and southwest Rajasthan.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch and in remaining parts of Punjab.

They were below normal in some parts of Uttaranchal, Haryana and Gujarat. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Telangana and in some parts of Orissa, east Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka. They were above normal in Konkan, Goa, north Chattisgarh and in some parts of west Madhya Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in north interior Karnataka and at isolated places in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
