Shibu Soren resigns from Cabinet

New Delhi, Nov 28: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today asked Coal Minister Shibu Soren to resign from the Cabinet in the wake of the JMM leader's conviction in the Shashinath Jha murder case.

A PMO spokesman said Mr Soren has been asked to put in his papers immediately.
