Mulayam announces to develop Ayodhya as an ideal city

Ayodhya, Nov 28 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav announced his plans to develop the birth place of Lord Ram -- Ayodhya as an ideal city.

Addressing the concluding programme of the Ramayan Mela here last night, the supremo of the Samajwadi Party said the fair would be given an International dimension, while 'Ram Ki Paudi' and other ghats would be developed and beautified just like Harki Paudi in Hardwar.

Terming the life and deeds of Lord Ram as worth following , he said if people draw inspiration from his life, their lives would be revolutionlised.

Expressing his concern over the female foeticide, the CM said such practice would disturb the male-female ratio, while the country could not usher in speedy progress if female education would not be encouraged.
