Mizoram BJP against China's claim

Aizawl, Nov 28: The Mizoram BJP unit has expressed concern over China's recent claim over Arunachal Pradesh.

A state level executive meeting, held here yesterday under the chairmanship of party's North East in-charge V Satish, condemned China's claim, saying Arunachal was never a part of China.

The party had sent a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh requesting him not to entertain such claim of China and protect the Indian territory from outside influences.

Mr Satish said the BJP central committee had cautioned the government of People's Republic of China against creating difficulties for Indian citizens.
