Life in prison to two in Jharkhand

Dumka, Nov 28 (UNI) A local court has sentenced to life two persons, accused of killing their brother four years back in the district.

According to prosecution, Gopal Das along with Jharil Das beat his brother Shyam Das and his wife on the issue of picking mahua leaves in Lusitand village under Taljhari police station.

Later on Shyam succumbed to his injuries in Jarmundi hospital.

Additional District and Sessions judge S K Sinha yesterday rewarded life imprisonment to both accused with a fine of Rs 2,000 each.
