J'khand governor urges to preserve regional languages
Ranchi, Nov 28 (UNI) Jharkhand Governor Sayed Sibte Razi today stressed the need to preserve the culture and language saying they were the identity of a true India.
After releasing a ''Bhojpuri'' book on computers, written by Mr Sabhapati Kushwaha, state Inspector General of Jail Mr Razi said languages should not be limited by religion and caste.
Mr Razi appreciated Mr Kushwaha for his efforts in writing a book in bhojpuri.
Speaking over diversities of Bhojpuri, Mr Razi said the language was widely spoken in and outside the country and had a historical importance.
He said literature in other Hindi an English were available but in Bhopuri there was lack of sufficient materials adding steps must be taken to preserve bhojpuri.
Mr Razi also mentioned that Bhojpuri was leaving an impact over Indian cnema adding now superhit stars of bollywood were working in bhojpuri films.
