Hero to increase number of training centres
Kolkata, Nov 28 (UNI) Hero Mindmine, a part of the Rs 14,500 crore Hero group, today announced its nationwide expansion programme to increase the number of its training centres to over 100 within the next three months at a cost nearly Rs 25 crore.
Announcing this world class english and BPO training programme of the newly set up companies, its business head A.W.George said of the 100 centres nearly 25 per cent of them would come up in the eastern region, including those in Kolkata, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, Siliguri, Cuttack, Patna and Asansol.
He said though on an experimental basis three centres had already been set up in Kolkata. " Ffollowing overwhelming response from the students, we have decided to widen our network in tune with the growing demand for dependable institutions to improve their communication skill and enhance their personality, " he added.
He refused to disclose their financial goal and said they were expecting to get the 100 per cent increase in enrolling the number of students by next year from the present about 2500 odd students in the country.
At present they were operating 15 courses and gearing up to increase their number by a few more in accordance with the demand for the corporate giants.
About their success in terms of job placement, Mr George accompanied by Chief Products Manager Sandip Sinha said it was over 90 per cent.
They also hinted at their plan to market their product overseas and did not rule out the possibility of joining hands with renowned local entities in a number of West Asia and South Asian countries, including Philipines, Malaysia, Indonesia and the UAE.
