Govt committed to provide 5 % reservation to Muslims: CM
Hyderabad, Nov 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said the state government was committed to provide five per cent reservation to Muslim community in the state.
Addressing a press conference here, he said the people had confidence on the Congress, as the Congress led state government was implementing all the promises given in the election manifesto.
He expressed confidence that the Congress would win both the Karimnagar and Bobbili by-elections with a sweeping majority.
He said the state government had constructed 12 lakh houses under INDIRAMMA housing scheme and proposed to construct another 20 lakh houses in the next three years.
He refuted former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's charge that corruption was rampant in the state.
