Ganja plants destroyed in AP village
Visakhapatnam, Nov 28 (UNI) Officials of the Andhra Pradesh Excise department destroyed ganja plantations worth Rs 11 crore near Killamkota village in G Madugula mandal about 80 km from here today.
Informing this to reporters, Paderu excise circle inspector J Prasad said ganja plants in 23 acres in the village bordering Orissa were destroyed.
He said four persons--K Balasubramanyam of Tamil Nadu, D Atchim Naidu, G Demudu and K Bonju Babu-- from local agency area in the state were arrested.
They were remanded in judicial custody, he said.
