Free uniforms for Anganwadi kids in Pondy

Puducherry, Nov 28 (UNI) The Puducherry Administration proposed to supply free uniforms to children studying in Anganwadis here.

When contacted by newsmen, the Chief Minister confirmed this and said the scheme would be implemented from next month.

As many as 3,500 children will be benefitted with the exchequer incurring an additional expenditure of Rs 12 lakh.
