Five killed in autorickshaw-private bus collision

Chitradurga, Karnataka, Nov 28 (UNI) Five young men were killed when an autorickshaw, in which they were travelling, collided with a speeding private bus near Holalkere about 40 km from here today.

Inspector General of Police (Eastren Range) M F Pasha told UNI that the victims, belonging to the city, were on their way to a temple in Holalkere. The bus was bound to Bellary from Bhadravathi.

While two were killed on spot, one succumbed to injuries in Holalkere hospital and two others died on way to Davangere hospital, the IGP said.

The killed had been identified as Doddesh 20, Suresh 24, Manjunatha 22, Girish 20, Obalesh 25.
