Farmers hold rasta roko

Machilipatnam, Nov 28 (UNI) As many as 300 irate farmers from Pedana and Machilipatnam Mandals organised rasta-roko before the Agriculture Market Committee here here today.

The demonstrators wanted the district administration to weed out irregularities in the distribution of paddy seeds for Rabi crop.

The rasta roko disrupted vehicular traffic from the district headquarters town of Machilipatnam to other places for about 60 minutes.
