Elephant tusk seized

Korba, Nov 28 (UNI) An elephant tusk, weighing 3.6 kg, has been seized from a person in Chhattisgarh's Korba district, police said today.

''On a tip-off that Suresh Bhonsle was trying to sell an elephant tusk, police sent a decoy to purchase it,'' City Superintendent of Police Vedvrat Sirmaur said.

The tusk, measuring 42 cm, is estimated at Rs three lakh.
