DDA warns penal action against unauthorised construction by allotees

New Delhi, Nov 28 (UNI) Taking serious note of some allottees or occupants of its flats affecting additions and alterations which are in contravention to the laid policies and programmes, the Delhi Development Authority today warned of penal action against such people.

''The DDA has been lately observing that some allottees or occupants of DDA flats have commenced additions and alterations in their flats which are not as per the laid policies and programmes,''the DDA said in a statement issued here.

Reiterating that all additions and alterations in DDA flats by allottees should be taken up only in accordance with the laid down policies and procedures given in the booklet titled "Policy and Procedure for Permission and Regularisation of additions and alterations in DDA Flats", the authority said any deviation from the laid down policy and procedure would attract penal action against the allottees or occupants.
