Dalit youth shot dead

Mainpuri, Nov 28 (UNI) A dalit youth was allegedly shot dead by some influential men in Kishni area here today.

Police said Surendra of Signi village had some dispute with Pradeep Singh and others, over which the former was shot.

He died on the spot.

The incident caused tension in the area.

Meanwhile, a case had been registered.

In another incident, a youth Anurag (22) committed suicide by shooting himself in Mainpuri City area. The case was being investigated.
