CPI cadres stage demo against price hike

Tiruchirapalli, Nov 28 (UNI) Cadres of Communist Party of India staged a demonstration in front of the District Collectorate here, as part of the state-wide stir in protest against the increase in prices of essential commodties.

Led by Party district secretary M Selvaraj, the demonstrators raised slogans urging the Centre and the state government to strengthen the Public Distribution System and arrange supply of commodites at reduced rates.
