Vehicle theft gangs busted in AP

Hyderabad, Nov 27 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh police today arrested three gangs of vehicle thieves, who were committing offences in Hyderabad and Cyberabad areas and impounded 31 two wheelers, one three wheeler and one four wheeler, all worth Rs 12.80 lakh.

The first gang comprising Shiva Kumar and Kranti Kiran had taken inspiration from a robber, who theft motor cycles in a film. 12 motor cycles were recovered from the two member gang.

Another thief Syed Shakeel was arrested during vehicle checking and recovered four scooters, three motor cycles and one passenger auto, based on his confession.

The vehicles pertaining to the third gang comprising, Kotla Bhargava Naga Kishore, Rudroji Sai Krishna and Odupu Murali were arrested on the outskirts of the city. Based on their confession, 12 two wheelers and one four wheeler vehicles were recovered, a press release said here.
