UP minister attacked with knife; assailant held

Lucknow, Nov 27 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development minister Kailash Yadav today escaped unhurt after being attacked by an assailant in Ghazipur district.

A state home department spokesperson said here the minister was attacked by Suraj Bali with a knife.

The minister was inaugurating a bridge in Jumania area of the district when the incident took place.

The assailant was caught soon after by his security staff and handed over to the police.
