2 Govt school teachers suspended

Davanagere, Nov 27: Two Primary School teachers of a Government School here were today placed under suspension for illegally transporting food articles meant for Mid-Day meal.

According to Deputy Director of Public Instructions (DDPI) office sources here, teachers S P Hiremath, who is also Teachers Association Secretary and G Karibasappa, attached to Kaveramma Government Primary School, were caught red handed when they were transporting 10 bags of Rice and Two bags of Turdal meant for mid-deal meals in the School.

A Departmental inquiry has been ordered against them.
