2 securitymen killed in accident

Srinagar, Nov 27: Two security personnel, including a head constable, died and another was wounded in the Kashmir valley last evening, officials sources said today.

They said an Army vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Jungli Nullah in the border town of Tangdhar in Kupwara district last evening.

While driver Balbir Singh of 2 Dogra died on the spot, sepoy Avtar Singh sustained injuries and was hospitalised.

Meanwhile, in another incident, a head constable of 171 Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF), identified as Barkatullah, died at a camp in Uri due to hypertension and acute myocardial infection.
