Two firemen wounded in Kashmir
Srinagar, Nov 27 (UNI) Three residential houses, a government building and two shops were destroyed in separate incidents of fire across the Kashmir valley since last evening, sources said today.
According to the sources fire broke out in the joint residential house of Mohammad Amin Mir and Mohammad Yaseen Mir at Bakoora village inZakoora on the outskirts of the city last evening.
Two firemen were wounded while fighting the blaze.
Another fire broke out at the Hajaj market in the frontier district of Kupwara which damaged the shops of Ghulam Nabi Khan and Mohammad Yousuf Wani, the sources added.
The residential houses of Mohammad Abdullah and Mushtaq Ahmad Mir were also damaged in a fire at Khah Bazar in Anantnag district last night.
In a separate incident, a pump shed of the Public Health Engineering Department at Dalgate near the Kashmir Golf Club on the Maulana Azad road was gutted in fire last night.
