Two dead, 33 injured in minibus accident near Doda

Jammu, Nov 27 (UNI) Two passengers were killed and 33 others injured when a minibus lost control and fell into a gorge on Bhaderwah road near Doda town in Jammu and Kashmir, police sources said.

The minibus was carrying people from Bhalla to Doda when it rolled into the gorge near Doda this morning, killing Imtayaz Ahmed and Afatab Ahmed, both residents of nearby Panj Grain area, the sources added.

Six people, who had received serious injuries in the accident, were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, while the rest were admitted to District Hospital, Doda.

Driver of the minibus was also injured in the accident, added the police.
