Sinha summons J

Jammu, Nov 27 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Governor Lt-Gen (Retd) S K Sinha has summoned the state legislature here on January 8, 2007 (Monday) at 1000 hrs, official sources today said.

According to the bulletins issued by the legislative council and assembly secretariat, sources said all the members of the legislative council and legislative assembly had been called upon to assemble together in the central hall of the legislature building in new secretariat premises of Jammu on January 8.

Lt Gen Sinha would address both the council and the assembly, after which each house will meet as a separate body at the time specified by the chairman and speaker.

Besides, the members were requested to send the business in the form of questions, private member bills and resolutions in accordance with rules to the respective secretaries of the houses.
