Rs 100 crore assistance for RIMS
Imphal, Nov 27 (UNI) Manipur's premier hospital, the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, will be upgraded as per AIIMS, New Delhi, as the Union government has sanctioned Rs 100 crore for overall health development facilities in the state.
RIMS director, professor L Fimate, said the fund would be used for upgradation of the government owned hospital. The money will be spent on infrastructure, equipment and other facilities for the medicos.
He said that he had invited opinions from experts and specialists on health for upgradation of RIMS.
