Man arrested for killing wife

Kokrajhar, Nov 27 (UNI) A person was arrested from Titaguri area under Kokrajhar police station of Asom for allegedly killing his wife today.

Police sources said the accused Doren Chandra Rai had strangulated his wife, Renuka Rai, following a family dispute this morning.

Later, he hanged Renuka's body from the ceiling to establish a suicide case but failed as his mother informed the police.

The couple, who were married for last seven years have two children, sources said.

Doren has been arrested under Section 302.
