Kerala pavilion gets gold medal at IITF

New Delhi, Nov 27 (UNI) Kerala has bagged the gold medal for its pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) at the Pragati Maidan which concluded here today.

Public Relations Director K C Venu received the award from Union Minister of State for Commerce Jairam Ramesh today.

This is the eleventh time in the 26-year-old history of the IITF that Kerala has won the gold medal for its pavilion.

Official sources said that the facade of the pavilion and its theme display were designed by Thiruvananthapuram-based artist C B Ginan.

Sources said 1.2 million people visited the Kerala pavilion during the 14-day long trade fair.
