Gurjars freed from brigands

Morena, MP, Nov 27 (UNI) Two Gurjar community members, who were abducted by dacoits on the intervening night of October 28-29 from here, have been found tied up in the Sarsaini and Bahadurpur ravines by a police search party.

''Rajendra Gurjar, Ramlakhan, Ramgovind, Gudda Dandautia and his father Narendra were abducted while toiling on a farm. Narendra was freed the following morning itself. Ramgovind was liberated with a letter demanding a ransom of Rs 11 lakh for each of the remaining abductees,'' said Superintendent of Police Yogesh Chaudhry.

Dandautia was freed on November 24 and the rest found last night.

The bandits escaped under cover of darkness.
