False case registered

Sheopur, MP, Nov 27 (UNI) A husband, accused in a dowry harassment case, has lodged a complaint against his wife's four relatives of assaulting him, police said today.

A case has been registered against Sheopur-residents Viplav, Jitendra, Prashant and S K Pal for beating and attacking Haryana's Karnal-resident Dilip on November 25 when he was here to appear in a court case.

Meanwhile, Dilip's wife had described the case as false saying S K Pal has died last year in road accident and Prashant was a handicapped and was put up in New Delhi.

Jitendra was also suffering from a disease and was receiving treatment in New Delhi, while Viplav was present in ayurvedic college in Indore on November 25.

Deputy Inspector General of Police (Chambal range) D C Sagar said matter was being investigated and culprits will not be spared.
