DDC, 3 others killed in road accident

Bhagalpur, Nov 27 (UNI) Bhagalpur district Development Commissioner Chitranjan Prasad, his wife and two others were killed in a road accident near Jagatpur village under Parbatta police station here yesterday.

District Magistrate Binay Kumar said here today that Mr Prasad met with the accident while he was returning with his wife and security guard after attending a marriage.

Mr Prasad, his wife and the security guard died on the spot, while their driver succumbed to his injuries at Jawaharlal Nehru College Hospital near here.

Police Superintendent J S Gangwar said the bodies were being brought to the police line.
