Committee submits report to Kalam on Viswa Bharati varsity

New Delhi, Nov 27 (UNI) A high-level committee constituted by the Human Resource Development Ministry in March this year to make recommendations for restoring Viswa Bharati University with pre-eminence in national arena, today submitted its report to President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.

The committee was chaired by rector of Viswa Bharati University and Governor of West Bengal Gopal Krishna Gandhi.

The other members of the committee are Prof Andre Beteile, Prof Romila Thapar, Prof A Vaidyanathan, Prof Amlan Dutta, Prof Govardhan Mehta and Prof A P Mitra.
