Bengal government to bring 'Green Way Bill' soon
Kolkata, Nov 27 (UNI) The West Bengal government is all set to introduce the "Green Way Bill" in order to simplify the tax structure further in accordance with the industry's demand.
Hinting this West Bengal Commissioner of Commercial Taxes C M Bachhawat informed the members of the Confederation of Indian Industry, Eastern Regional Council that his department was considering to introduce the "progressive system" including those in the Tax Holiday scheme, Way Bills and the issues related to LPG.
He said during the past two months the government had also amended the documents with respect to Industry, Trade and Policy and was planning to make some changes in the compounded form of tax, dispute on taxable and non-taxable income besides the audit issue for dealers.
