Jammu, Nov 27 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today advised all ranks of security agencies to have a ''people-friendy approach'' while dealing with militancy.

While chairing the unified headquarters meeting here, Mr Azad complimented the security agencies for bringing down the graph of custodial deaths to the negligible level.

However, he advised security forces to take all precautions for avoiding any human right violation in the state.

''Militants now stand isolated and hate against them is developing in the minds of people for their random, savage and inhuman activities,'' the chief minister said.

Senior defence, police and administrative officials were present at the meeting.
