APSRTC launches 'Meghadoot' bus services

Hyderabad, Nov 27 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today launched hi-tech 'Meghadoot' bus services, replacing the existing Volvo bus services in the state.

Partcipating in the platinum jubilee celebrations of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) here, Dr Reddy said the RTC employees should strive to increase the occupency ratio of the RTC buses and strenghten the organisation financially.

He said the government was committed to provide all possible assistance to the RTC.

Dr Reddy also flagged off ''Palle Velugu'' ordinary bus services, which would ply in villages.
