'Aadum Koothu' director watches his work Ist time at IFFI

Panaji, Nov 27 (UNI) Screening of yet to be released Tamil film 'Aadum Koothu (The Dance of Life) by veteran Malyalam director T V Chandran at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) here today became a double treat for viewers.

Chandran along with his team--heroine Navya Nair, hero Cheran, music director Issac Thomas Kottukapally -- were present on the occasion.

It was a very special moment for Chandran as it was here that he was saw his work first.

''It is my first Tamil film. I love Tamil, as my better half is a Tamil,'' said Chandran.

He said this film has not been released anywhere else, so coming here to present it at the Indian Panorama section of IFFI was very exciting for him.

Chandran said he was dedicating his film to veteran actor late Sivaji Ganesan.

The film is a story of oppression and self-defiance, of love and the search for it, of expression and its rebellion, he said.

Earlier, Chandran's films have found place eight times in the Indian Panorama section of IFFI. Among his prominent works include Danny, Susana, Mangamma, Padam Onnu Oru Vilapam and Alice Anweshanam.

He has also worked as a writer on films like Kadhavaseshan, Danny, Ponthan Mada and Alicinte Anweshan.
