UPDS cadre arrested

Diphu, Nov 26 (UNI) A suspected UPDS militant was arrested today in Gautambasti area at Khatkhati out-post under Bokajan police station, police said.

Police informed here that one Rajiv Tisso was arrested by a routine police patrol party of the outpost.

An AK 47 rifle, 30 rounds of ammunition and a magazine were recovered from him, police said.

A case under Illegal Arms Possession Act had been registered against the UPDS cadre.
