Three killed, seven injured in accident near Saputara

Surat, Nov 26 (UNI) As many as three people died and seven injured in a fatal accident in which a truck chassis hit two Maruti cars, near Saputara, sources said.

According to sources, the accident occurred near Malegav Tollgate on Waghai Road, three kilometers away from Saputara, when a truck chassis coming from the opposite direction hit the Maruti cars early morning yesterday.

All the dead and injured were passengers of the two Maruti cars, who left for Shirdi from Vyara on Friday morning.

The dead were identified as Jagar Ashvin Shah(36), Minesh Chandrakanth Bundela(36), both passengers of a car and their driver Yogesh Bhai.

The injured included Parimal Shah, Vaisali Shah, Vandanaben, Vishnubhai, Pravin Pagaharia, Vinesh Gamit and Sumanbhai.

They were admitted to Ahva Government Hospital and severely injured Parimal Shah and Vaishali Shah were later admitted to Mahavir Hospital here.

The driver of the truck chassis, escaped leaving behind the vehicle.
