Three drug peddlars get ten years imprisonment
Moga, Nov 26 (UNI) A local court has sentenced three drug pedlars, from Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh to ten years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs one lakh each.
In case of default, they will further undergo one years additional imprisonment.
The verdict was announced by Additional Sessions Judge B S Sandhu here yesterday.
The drug peddlars Nishan Ahmed, Salim and Hamid Ahmed were arrested under NDPS Act by the Dharamkot police in the district in 2002 with 25 bags of poppy husk.
