Social activist ends fast over Tibet
New Delhi, Nov 26 (UNI) Senior socialist leader Raghuveer Singh Kapoor, who was on an agitation since November 20 against the visit of Chinese President Hu Jintao today ended his fast.
Kapoor, who began his agitation at Jantar Mantar to demand freedom for Tibet from Chinese occupation, ended his fast by accepting a glass of juice from representative of Tibet-in-exile Tenzin Dawa.
A public meeting was also organised on the site with social activists like sociologist Anand Kumar, socialist leader Raj Kumar Jain and Dr Manoj Kumar of the Indo-Tibetan friendship society participating.
