Shekhawat leaves for New Delhi
Nagpur, Nov 26 (UNI) Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat left for New Delhi today after a two-day visit to Yavatmal in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra.
Mr Shekhawat arrived here by an IAF helicopter from Yavatmal this evening and, thereafter, left for New Delhi by a special IAF aircraft, an official press release here said.
The Vice President was seen off at Nagpur airport by Maharashtra Minister for Education Vasant Purke and senior government officials.
Mr Shekhawat had arrived at Yavatmal yesterday to attend few functions, including the golden jubilee celebrations of a college there.
