School bus falls into canal, 6 injured

Hisar, Nov 26 (UNI) Six persons, including three childern, were injured when a school bus in which they were travelling fell into a canal near Nagal village near Ambala today, police here said.

According to the police, the bus belonging to New Yashoda Public School, Hisar was on its way to Pinjore gardens.The driver of the bus lost control when a cow suddenly came in the middle of the road and the vehicle fell into a canal which had no water.

The six injured included two school teachers, Ms Sushila and Ms Raj Bala, three students, Dev, Dhiksha and Abhinav, and Shiv Kumar, the bus driver. The injured, after first aid, were sent back to Hisar by a police vehicle.
