Nine killed as tractor overturns in AP

Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, Nov 26 (UNI) Nine devotees, including five women, were killed and ten seriously injured when a tractor in which they were travelling overturned at a place in Chowdapalli mandal in this district today.

According to police, 21 worshippers after offering prayers to goddess Gangamma in Boinkonda, were returning to their native place Chandrapalli in Sadam mandal, when the mishap occurred.

While seven persons, including four women died on the spot, two others succumbed to injuries at Punganur Government hospital.
