NCSU threatens to disrupt Hornbill Festival

Kohima, Nov 26 (UNI) With only four days before the Hornbill Festival of Nagaland, the Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (NCSU) has been agitating against the non-payment of their pending liabilities.

The NSCU has threatened to disrupt the week-long Hornbill Festival to be commencing from December one.

According to a NCSU General Secretary Moa Imchen's statement, they have already started agitation with Poster Campaigns for the ninth day today and now going for the second phase of agitation with a procession on November 29.

The procession of vehicles would start from MLA Hostel Junction of Kohima town, which would go in the thoroughfares of this capital town, to press their demands for paying liabilities, which is at the tune of Rs 10 crores.

He also said if the state government failed to fulfil their demands, they would not hesitate to disrupt the Hornbill Festival, to register their protest.
